How does digital adapter work with an old tv with no coaxial hookup

My parents have a really old TV. It is one of those that sits on the floor. It only has a wall plug...no coaxial cable or cable hookup that I can see. How would this adapter work without a coaxial cable hookup?

It will have at least one RF input but it might look like two screw terminals. DTV converter boxes will have a selectable channel 3 or 4 antenna output that would connect to the VHF antenna input. You will need a 300 ohm to 75 ohm adapter

Set the TV tuner to either channel 3 or 4 and use the remote from the converter box to change channels.
