Is someone filling up your inbox with spam or irrelevant messages? If you're running a professional client like Outlook, you don't have time for those kind of problems in your email. The good news is that you can block email senders in Outlook by following these steps:

1. Log on and sign in- Open your browser and go to www.outlook.com and sign in with your email address and password credentials.

2. Inbox- You will be directed to your inbox, and if you look in the upper right portion of your screen you will see a gear icon. Click the gear icon to reveal a drop down menu. Click on Options from this menu.

3. Options menu- On this screen you will see several categories with topics underneath them. One category of options is called “Preventing junk email”. Under this are two options, titled “Filters and reporting” and “Safe and blocked senders”. Click Safe and blocked senders.

4. Safe and blocked senders options- There are 3 options in this section, the last being Blocked senders. Click Blocked senders.

5. Adding addresses- There is a text box to enter the email address you wish to block. Enter the email address and click the Add to list box to the right of it. Repeat as necessary.
