Hello Guys,
I was looking to connect a JBL GT4-12 ( Car Subwoofer) with a Yamaha V577. I did a thorough search but wasn't able to find something( i'm a noob). If anyone can guide me through the process i'll be grateful. I know this is not advised but the sub is in great condition and i don't have a sub attached with my receiver.
Thanks in Advance

P.S. the receiver has a Pre Out and is rated at 80 W per channel (8 ohms, 20 Hz-20 kHz, 0.09% THD, 2-ch driven).

That subwoofer is just a speaker. You need an enclosure and an amplifier. The V577 has line-level output (the subwoofer pre-out) ports but those can't drive a speaker. They can only be used as input to an amplifier. Car woofer systems use amps with 1000W (or more). They use large power cables and sometimes multiple batteries to support the required current. Car amps don't work well in home settings. But they do make standalone subwoofer amps like this -- https://www.amazon.com/Acoustic-Audio-WS1005-Frequency-Subwoofer/dp/B00VF5TY7E
And there are articles on building subwoofer enclosures like this -- http://www.audioholics.com/diy-audio/diy-sealed-subwoofer

So if i use a car amplifier along with this would it work or what if i use this Blaupunkt XLb 300(My friend has one).Could exchange it with this but i don't know if it matters but this one is rated at 2ohms.

Car amps don't work well in home settings because it is difficult to create the high amperage DC voltage they require. A car alternator can output 100A DC and a car battery can supply 500A for a short period. Creating those 12VDC conditions in a home environment is not practical.
