How to create a clone of an SSD to move to an HDD?

Recently, I've been having frequent boot errors where it says my boot media wasn't recognized. Even in the BIOS, my boot drive wasn't showing up. My boot drive is an mSATA SSD. I took it out, cleaned the connectors and put it back. It's working again, for now. I'd like to create a clone of the drive so I can move the boot drive to my tertiary, unused HDD for when my mSATA inevitably dies. I'm just not sure how to go about doing that.

Welcome to the community, ITcore!

I believe you'd be able to do this like any other cloning/migrating process using a specific cloning software tool. You can also do a system image of your OS and files using a system backup software and have your OS and file safe elsewhere. Here's a thread you might find useful: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1848564/hdd-cloning-software.html

Hope it helps. Let me know if you have further questions! :)
