How to get 5.1 audio without optical cable or HDMI

I have old sony audio system Sony DAV DZ250M and new TV sony kdl43 755c which had HDMI and optical input, but audio system have HDMI OUT only. Can i reverse it or what other options do i have (if i have any) to get 5.1 surround sound? Are sony really can't give me 5.1 with all their electronics?

The pictures I can find for that Sony don't have any multi-channel inputs and the only manual that Sony has is in Russian. I believe the answer is: You can't get audio from your TV to the Sony.

On page 25 you can see the only input for audio i can connect. But I guess you're right. No 5.1 for me 🙁

TV has optical audio and hybrid headphone/line level audio outputs. HTS has analog audio input so connect the TV hybrid analog output to it. Set it for line level input. You will need a cable with a 3.5mm stereo mini plug at the TV end and 2 RCA plugs at the HTS end. Pretty common.
