How to hook up a dvd recorder to comcast digital filter to tv

Hello,
I just been forced to digital conversion by comcast. This means I have to deploy a filter box along with my setup. I have a DVD recorder, VCR, The new comcast filter and a digital TV. I can hook everything up and get digital TV reception, but I no longer get an TV picture through my DVD recorder. This means I no longer can record anything to DVD. Any help?????

Not certain, but I would assume that your DVD Recorder and VCR only accept analog inputs. This means you'd have to connect these devices to the analog output of the filter box provided by Comcast.
