How to hook up surround sound to older SANYO BOX TYPE tv & to direct t.v. genie & to be able to hear through the system

I have an RCA surround sound system and I want to hook it up so that I can hear my satellite through the speakers as well as the DVD. I'M trying to hook it up to a 32" SANYO from Wal-Mart.

If your Sanyo TV doesn't have any audio outputs your DTV Genie has two digital audio outputs and an AV output that would give you analog audio out with the right dongle.
