How to make the PC use the computer speakers instead of the headset when it is plugged in (wireless)?

I have the Corsair Vengeance 2100 headset and it is plugged in through a wireless device. I wanted to use the PC speakers, so I had to unplug the wireless adapter from my speakers to make sound come from the speakers instead of the headset.

Any easy way to do this?

I switch between my audio outputs from:
Control Panel -> Sound
Right click on the device you want active, and choose "Set as Default".

You may need to close and reload whichever program is using audio to "trigger" the change in that application/game.
