How to merge E to D

My HDD is 320GB I did partition to it by using disk mgmt so have C and D both with 139 & 129 respectively but needed 3 partition with eaual capacity but couldn\'t do it using disk mgmt so I use partition magic and split C drive and make new partition of 40GB now I want to split 40 GB from D drive and merge it with E so as to make C 100gb D 100GB and E about 80 GB without formating coz I dun have laptop driver CD it aspite one D270 what should I do??

You need contiguous space on the disk for a new partition. If you first need to move the D partition forward to get all the space at the end of the drive. That's a dangerous operation! I recommend to backup all your data first!
