How to remove battery connector from motherboard on an Asus Q551LN

I'm trying to upgrade my Asus laptop, but need to disconnect the battery before doing anything. I've watched videos and have read articles of how to remove the connector of similar models, but can't seem to figure out how to remove the battery connector of a Q551LN Asus Notebook. I've seen that it's supposed to pull strait off, but won't budge. What do I do?
