How to retreve netgear router password

Hello,
I have gone through start, control panel,network sharing, properties toolbar, security tab. I can see the password but can't see the charaters. Please help?

Hi paluja,

For your kind information, wireless router password can't be retrieved from your computer. If you haven't changed the password, you may use the default one, provided by Netgear. But if you have changed it and forgot without writing somewhere, you are gonna hard reset the router and configure it once again......................
