There will be a 3m distance between my monitor and the soon to be built computer due to the lack of space in the room. I'll make this work by using a 5m HDMI cable, 5m USB extension cable and a USB hub.
But what to do with headset? I don't want to use a USB sound card or wireless headset.

I have no issues finding long extension cables like this on Ebay.
But there's only a single female jack.

Which kind of splitters/connectors do I need to use to make it work?

Does your monitor has built in speakers? If so, you can plug this audio splitter ( http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Speaker-and-Headphone-Splitter/dp/B000067RC4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1439777049&sr=8-1&keywords=audio+splitter ) and plug it into the headphone jack on your monitor, and plug your headset to one of the jack, and plug whatever it is that you need to the other one (you didn't mention why you need a splitter). If your monitor doesn't have speakers, just buy that extension cable on ebay, and buy the audio splitter I mentioned, and just plug it in to the extension. :)

It's a Plantronics that looks somewhat like this

Thanks for the reply.

I have to clarify though that I don't want two audio jacks, I want one audio and one mic jack(or some other solution) since my headset has two jacks, one for audio and one for mic.

I can't find one that's specifically for mic. They all say "headset audio microphone" and only have one jack.

Just ordered two anyway since they were cheap.
