HP Envy 15t webcam not working.

I have an HP Envy 15t-j100. The webcam sort of works. When I try to use it, I can see very faint picture, but it's mostly grey.

There's a picture of a window.
Windows says the driver is installed correctly, but it also says that it needs further installation.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First is to uninstall/reinstall the Webcam driver.
- Once uninstalled, reboot your laptop and it should reinstall the driver automatically.
- After the reboot, do also install the webcam software and see if you can adjust some settings from it.

- If the same problem will persist that could only mean that the webcam is already faulty.
- Last troubleshooting you can try is to reinstall Windows itself.
