I was gifted a HP laptop that is EXTREMELY under-powered !

Product : G1V01UA
Model : 15-d035dx

The replacement motherboard is a HP Part Number 753099-501

I am not looking for a "rocket ship", just something that will hold 2 sticks of RAM with a dual or quad core processor.

Instead of spending money on that thing get something like this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dell-Latitude-E6440-Core-i5-4300M-2-6Ghz-4GB-Ram-180GB-SSD/372458939548?hash=item56b848649c:g:CDMAAOSwE8VbrSWF:rk:14:pf:0
Much better than anything you can do with that hp. That hp was made to have that pentium in it and nothing more. Even if you somehow manage to put a better motherboard in it you'll end up with overheating issues and whatnot.

I wasn't born yesterday ! That MoBo is so cheap that it only allows one 4GB stick of RAM. I have the SSD ready to go.

Don't know why my link didn't go:

This is something that would be a good investment (a lot of cheaper options are out there but it's just a point of reference).
