hp notebook 15-ba009dx white blinking light. wont power on.

I have a hp notebook 15-ba009dx that’ I’ve had just over a year. Last night I went to power it on and nothing. I assumed it was dead but the little orange light wouldn’t come on when plugged in. I let it charge overnight and still nothing, but the orange light would come in here and there but very quickly and just blink once or twice. After all the hard resetting and taking the battery out ECT. I went out and bought a new adapter thinking the charger cord was broken. After plugging in the new cord, a white LED light blinks a few times and then nothing. I took the battery out and plugged the charger in to see if the battery was the issues but it’s still not turning on. Can someone tell me if I should just junk it? I have no idea how to possibly fix it if I can.

I would suggest taking it to a local tech before getting rid of it. It may be a simple and cheap fix.
