OKay, then that computer is fine. If you want to spend a few bucks extra, look for a i5-3xxx series processor on basically the same models, a bit more performance.

i just bought the lenovo v570 i had an old dell inspiron b130 when i click both the left and right buttons at the same time i could scroll with my touchpad and open separate tabs when i doubled clicked on something in firefox i culd click on a link and it would open in a new tab how do i enable this on my lenovo?

You may have to dig up the software for trackpad controls. Poke around and see if you can find that, it should allow you some limited options to program the trackpad. You can also go "ctrl+click on link" to open in a new tab.

Perhaps check to make sure your Flash is updated and your video driver is updated as well ? Some video drivers attempt to use the GPU to accelerate Flash decoding, but doesn't support all resolutions, is my guess...

Couldn't agree more. Im on my Compaq now and BOY this thing is louder than a car's engine when doing some multi tasking
Also my school just purchased some I5 $700 HP Probooks and those things are horrible. The touchpad does not respond at all i had to click 8 times today.

First thing I'd do is to download a decent codec pack to make sure that what your problem is not related to codecs. Try the k-lite codec pack:

http://codecguide.com/download_kl.htm

Then/and check in the flash player's control panel, and uncheck the use hardware acceleration option. You may also access this option by loading up a flash video in the browser, and the bottom tray of buttons will have a settings button some where.

Is this with just a certain browser ? I know that for some versions of the Flash plugin and firefox, the two doesn't play well together, like this:

http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/flash-113-doesnt-load-video-firefox

COULD be a software issue like this. If you have another browser, try that (for example, chrome).

Check your wireless signal strength. This may have to do with your distance to the router.

Definitly asus beats HP when it comes to quality. However the company did lose a lot in terms reliability (due to selling fixed laptops as new) in the last year.
They are still better than HP thou.
There is little more to say about this, asus simply ahs a better internal layout build than HP.

It seems possibly that the laptop isn't getting enough bandwidth to the internet. The streamed video is constantly re-buffering (possibly). Your internet speed is high, but possibly the connection to the servers at justin.tv is slow for some reason.

Try it on a ethernet cable instead of wireless and see if the problem goes away. Try toggling HD/non-HD formats for your flash videos (if you have that option) and see if it helps.
