Why does my 16gb HP v215b pendrive show 15.1gb usable storage? I format it with Fat32 but nothing changes. How is it possible? Thanks for advance.

These are screenshots.

Always happens - the formatted space available is less than the nominal space because various bits needed for the system.

I want to know why here 15.1gb is usable space as a 16gb pendrive should have 14.9gb or something usable space.

It was already answered, the formatting takes up some of the space. How much exactly depends on the formatting that was done, file system, type, block size, etc.. Is the drive working normally?
