:/ what do you mean by doesn't do very well?

if s.lcd gets 10/10, then amoled gets 9/10. if you say that 'doesn't do very well' then amazing you.

The main problem of AMOLED screens,is that they aren't as good as LCDs in direct sunlight, that's one of the reasons that Samsung uses Super-AMOLED displays on some of its handsets which work fine in direct sun-light and consume less power.
