HTC Dna recover lost files

Hi please help

Today my daughter successfully factory reset my DROID DNA phone and I lost several important recordings as well as all my pictures.

The problem I am running into is with the DROID DNA you cannot mount it as a mass storage device so none of the recovery tools I have found so far will work... I have tried 5 or 6 different ones.

Does anyone have any solutions for this? With this particular phone the sd card is built in. Oh and it is not rooted. Any help would be a life saver thank you.

You can try software like this one:
http/www.macroplant.com/phonedisk/
and see if it will allow you to mount your phone as a disk.

If it does, you can use Recova to get your stuff back.
https/www.piriform.com/recuva

I would recommend getting a microsd card for your phone and set all your pics and videos to save to that.

I have a cracked screen on my DNA and the pattern lock became an issue. I only have one attempt left before, it resets. I can't believe that they allowed our phones data to be wiped so easily. I'm trying to figure out how to access mine before, the inevitable happens. What did your phone do, go back to factory settings and completely erase all your photos?

I've been reading about similar situations and phones with SD cards don't risk losing music, photos, etc.. I would of never gotten this phone if, I would of known about the internal memory.
