Htc Touch Pro 2 qwerty Problem

out of complete random my f key stopped working

as a backup i have never dropped this phone and have babied it the entire time ive had it. i had to restart it cause it froze and when t came back on the F key just wasnt working

i looked to see if it worked before the reset and i sent a text message about 10 minutes before where i used the F key multiple times

just to confirm i mean the f key as in the letter F/f

any solutions things i can try?

It could be that the diode burnt out. To be sure, try doing a hard reset on it and see if that gets it going.

ive done two hard resets since the problem started but from what i discovered it must be hardware issue as if i push it down a little further the f key works i ean its annoying but i get by with it just like that
