Solved! HTPC vs PS3

been thinking a HTPC for a while now but have nearly given up becuz of the software, so many choices, so many configurations, not to mention the overall price, thinking seriously about getting a PS3 to watch BD movies, any help would be appreciated

Depends. If you already have a receiver and some speakers, I think the ps3 would be the better choice. However, if you go the HTPC route, your pc can act as the receiver an all you would need would be some speakers. Klipsch promedia 2.1 speakers are phenomenal price/performance. If i wasnt using a receiver, id roll with the klipsch
