I am getting a no signal message when hooking up a Sony Blu-Ray DVD player model BDP-S3100 to a Sony Bravia XBR TV using HDMI

Did you change the input on the tv?

Try a different HDMI cable. Try a different HDMI input on the TV.
If for some reason the player is set to a video resolution too high for the TV it may indicate no signal.
Try connecting it to another TV and if you can get to the set up menu check the video resolution and change it.
