I installed win 7 64 bit on my acer aspire one d257 netbook. all of its drivers were for 32 bir version but they installed in it with no problem and are working fine. But the vga driver is not installing it show the error that my system does not meet the minimum requirement for the installation. I have downloaded the vga driver from support centre of acer and of the particular model as well.

Plz help me in solving the problem.nazir.297@gmail.com

dynamiteshan, here is a solution for you. Also, I can prove stickg1 and brett are WRONG. :non:

Acer Aspire One D257 can run the VGA driver. If you download from acer website, I can guarantee you it won't work!!!

The name of the VGA of D257 is call "Intel GMA 3150", go to intel and download this driver in 64 bit and it will work like a charm!!! I just fixed one 2 mins ago. Hope this will help you out dynamiteshan!!!

it's less than 4GB then just use Win7 32bit. Chances are that's what your laptop was designed to use anyway.
