I bought a Pioneer ct-w208r double tape player on ebay. I rec the unit and put a tape in but there was no sound. what am I m

Pioneer ct-w208r Tape deck with no sound what do I need. The deck has 2 tape players with auto reverse and a radio.

and there is no radio in that dual cassette deck. Only deck 2 will record on that machine.
Follow the instructions and if you still can't get it to work you may have gotten a dud.
