I cant find "my files" on HTC Desire 510

I have had the HTC Desire 510 for about a year now and I recall using the "my files" app at some point but now it is no where to be found. I looked in the app manager went through DOWNLOADED, ON SD CARD, RUNNING, ALL and it wasnt there. It did not come up in the search either.

What happened to it?
Can I restore it somehow?

I have android version 4.4.2

Try this...


1. Go to "Settings" and then "Application Manager" or "Apps".

2. Next scroll right until you get to the "All" list and then to "Turned Off" which is hidden off to the right of it.

3. You should find your "My Files" app listed in the "Turned Off" list.

4. Tap it to turn it back on.

Sometimes updates or changes change turn the application off, especially updates. Why, who knows.

I've tried that, just checked again and there is no "Turned Off" tab to the right of "All"

Sorry I'm super late to reply, but no there isn't...just "Downloaded" "On SD card" "Running" and "All"

Hmm, if it isn't listed in the "ALL" section and the other two options mentioned don't exist, that app my no longer be on the device. If it was there, it would have to show up somewhere.

Yeah I looked everywhere couldn't find it. Was hoping to find a way to get it back because I remember using it before.
