i have a new notebook tablet/laptop. battery says 100% charged but when i unplug the charger my device turns off

new laptop wont stay on when the charger is removed, but battery shows to bev 100% charged. i just bought the laptop yesterday. it's a notebook ares 11a

Sounds like your battery is bad. If you just got this device, then I would return it and have them give you one that has a working and new battery. A new device should not do that.
