I have an Lg to and wish to connect with HDMI ARC to my onetime sound bar without losing all settings if I change channel?

I have a problem hope someone can help please?
I've got an Lg 43 tv LH 570vgg and a onetone sound bar. All good connection wise got my sound but when I Change channel I lose my settings and have to re set up again?
Any thoughts please?

How is the soundbar connected to the TV?
If it's connected with HDMI-ARC try turning CEC off in the TV menu.
Is the soundbar going off or changing input when you change channels? That would indicate a problem with the soundbar.
Are you losing the TV Audio output when you change channels. The TV menu would show that change. If so then the TV has a problem.
