I have sound but no picture on my samsung rear projector tv

I have a samsung 61 inch rear projector, i have sound but no picture does this mean i need a new lamp? does a blown tv lamp look like a normal light bulb when its blown? cause ive pulled the lamp out and it looks pretty good to me.

I also have a 61 inch dlp. The bulb will look the same I have gone through a couple and only one are two looking any different from brand new. When you put the bulb in and turn it on look at the side and if theres no light from the bulb there you go. Also if you havent already gotten one be sure to buy from Samsung i have had so many bulbs becsue they only lasted for a few weeks then went out.
