I am guessing the intel CPU is better, but is it really that much better that I should avoid buying this laptop https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C086TLS For this one https://www.amazon.com/HP-Notebook-15-ay011nr-15-6-Inch-Processor/dp/B01CGGOZOM

I have always heard that HP laptops are not made to last but Asus are.

update
Budget: under $500
Usage: using pretty intensive software to trade stock. must have SSD. May play the occasional game on it but nothing too intensive.

My biggest concerns when it comes to keeping the HP is the fact that it is an HP.
My biggest concerns when it comes to switching to the asus is the AMD processor.

I just bought them both and already have the HP at my house. Most likely i'll be keeping the asus due to the fact that it has 1 year warranty. But I still have yet to make a 100% decision.

Now there is this laptop: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DT4A2R4/ref=psdc_565108_t2_B01HR23834 but It is around $70 to $90 Dollars more. I would just have to tell myself enough times that it would be worth it. However for what I am wanting it for, it might not be worth it...

Another update: Something that I find idiotic with the asus laptops are the non easy back removable battery set up. Oh and I think acer is the same way?

Theres also this one: https://www.amazon.com/F556UA-AS54-15-6-inch-Full-HD-Laptop-Windows/dp/B01CGGOUJM/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_sims?ie=UTF8

asus and hp are as bad as each other at times but hp are generally worse due to all the crap they throw on there laptops is bloatware

believe it or not if your looking for a low budget laptop the a10 8700p is better in graphics performance

theres also this acer that would be better

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834315535&cm_re=nvidia_laptop-_-34-315-535-_-Product

laptops are like eggs you can get a good one or a bad one from any vendor

i prefer toshiba myself as i rarely have any issue with them while hp have given me murder

budget would be around $500 and I will mainly be using it to trade stock and to watch youtube/guitar tabs. I have a gaming desktop so I wasn't big on wanting to game with it but you never know.

Yep I am thinking the same thing. Doesn't asus also have amazing cooling tech in their laptops? So overclocking could be somewhat safe on the default gear? Thank you for your answers by the way. :D Seems it could be good for casual gaming as well.

Yeah not sure why the link doesn't show what I've put it on. I have the 128gb SSD HP laptop i5 version. The link keeps defaulting back to the 1 tb hdd.
