depend on what you are going to use it for. Does it have a graphic card or just the integrated graphic?

The AMD has AMD Radeon HD 7640G Discrete-Class graphics and up to 4084MB total graphics memory

the i7 will be a much faster chip, so for computational tasks this is the champ... that said if your use includes gaming, you'll get significantly better performance out of the A8 (assuming the intel does not have a discrete gpu of any type)

you mean word and excel? the Intel one is good for that. If you need any games, go with the AMD
