Without model numbers there is no way to help you specifically.
If your HTS has 2 HDMI inputs an output you can connect the cable box and BD to it via HDMI and the HTS to the TV with HDMI.
If the HTS and TV have ARC then you would connect the BD and box to the TVs regular HDMI inputs and the HTS to the TV through the HDMI/ARC input. Set the TV to output surround sound via ARC.
If you don't have ARC then your TV probably has an optical audio output that you can connect to the HTS.
