Intel Core i5 or i7 with the same GPU (Lenovo Z510)?

Hello,
I can't decide which version of Lenovo Z510 to get. It has Intel Core i5-4200M (3.10 GHz 400 MHz 3 MB) version and Intel Core i7-4700MQ (2.40GHz 1600MHz 6MB) version, both with NVIDIA GT740M GPU. Will the i7 version get more fps when playing games or will it bottleneck?
Is the i7 worth another 100 bucks or should I get the i5 version?

The i7 will perform better in games like BF4, as well as if you are multitasking.
The i5 will give about half the performance of the i7.
So if you can afford the i7 version, get it, but if not, you will still be able to run most things fine.

i7 is better, but, a 740 is not really that good. so i think it will be a bottleneck

Its only a $650 laptop - for the i7 version. You can't expect much.
