Internet Explorer gives error every time I open it - ASUS Laptop

Hello,
I bought a BRAND NEW ASUS high-end Laptop (Windows7) a month ago, when I go to open Internet Explorer, from day one it is giving me error "Internet Explorer has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem", option buttons seen are "Debug" and "Close program". I always select the "Close program" option and error message box is cleared. The IE works OK after I have closed off the error message box. Sometimes I see multiple of error messages. I went through the Out-Of-Box steps and created the Factory Image DVD's as instructed before I did anything. How do I get rid of this error message?
