Internet Problems with HP 2000 Notebook PC

The wifi adapter won't turn on. I pressed the bottun but the light stays at orange. I tried restarting it, shutting it down and using a USB but it won't work. Please help

Usb wireless adapter? Did you install the drivers? It won't work doesn't tell me a lot.
