I am using an IBM Thinkpad Z60M, it runs on Intel 915PM chipset, with a Centrino 2.0, 1.5Gb RAM, and 80gb HDD.

My Windows is crashing a lot lately so I thought of formatting and starting all over. It then hit my mind that some users were able to install the Intel Mac OS on desktops with a 915chipset and a Celeron D 2.4Ghz processor.

My big question is it, is it possible, or better yet, has anyone tried, installing the Mac OSx for Intel processors on the IBM Thinkpad Z60M?

If so, is there any guides or walkthoughs on it?

And an off topic question, when I bought this Z60M basically it was the last models before the dual cores came out, so I felt a bit ripped off since dual core costs almost the same. Could I upgrade my processor to a dual core with the 915 chipset? Or does it has to be 945 or over?

Thanks a lot for reading!!!

If you LT is crashing that ofter you have a hardware problem, overheating maybe.

As for running Mac OSX on a pc. All that I have read it requires a Developers Copy of the OS and one specific intel mb.

Jump over to unix/linux flavor.
