I was just wondering, if you had a ultrabook that had ehternet port, is it possible to make mini pcie out of it to get vidock (or similar) so you can connect it to external graphics card to get better performance.

Solution
Nope. Ethernet is relatively low bandwidth and high lag.

You'd need Thunderbolt, or possibly USB3.0. Somebody might commercialise an mPCIe card with a ePCIe connector on it though.

Where can I get that USB 3.0 to pcie adapter? Cause I am quite sure the ultrabook I saw only had mini hdmi/Ethernet and USB 3.0
