Hi,
I need a laptop since I'm going to be studying Computer Science in a while.
I got a very good deal on the Dell Latitude 7490, here are it's exact specs:
Intel Kaby Lake R Core i7-8650U Quad Core
16GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM
512GB M.2 PCI-e SSD
14" FHD IPS Display
Intel HD 620 Graphics
Backlit Keyboard
USB-C Thunderbolt
USB 3.1
Windows 10 Professional 64 Bit
3 Years Dell On-Site Warranty

1.Does this laptop tend to overheat?
2.Do the fans make a lot of noise?
3.How is it's battery?
4.Do you think this is a good laptop for Computer Science?
5.Any other recommendations?

Thanks in advance

I don't like the last few generations of Dell laptops, the fans run loud till you do a BIOS and a few other updates, which is horrible quality control. Generation before that same thing but in their 12" models. Generation before that the batteries died in new systems. Even if they made a fix, the fact that it was released in a bad condition makes me not want to use them. I would go with a Lenovo model.
