Is there a way to play a movie from the computer via receiver for sound / TV for video

I have an apple computer, I want to show a Show Box movie using my computer to my Marantz receiver for 5.1 surround sound and video.

If both your apple and receiver have HDMI then that will work fine. If not then it depends what outputs you have on the apple and inputs on the receiver and TV. If it gets complicated to do then buy an Android TV box and install the Showbox app.

You can try to stream with several apps with DLNA/UPnP technology. Just search with a market. Has to work.
