JRE Error 1723

Hey guys. I really need your help. After being stupid and deleting my main java folder java on my laptop has been ruined and I cant uninstall or install it any more. When I try to install the new JRE it comes up with the 1723 error even though I have windows installer 3.0 on my laptop! if any of you can help I would be so happy. Thanks in advance guys.

You could have a shot at using the JDK installer instead. It will install a bunch of things you don't need but it might get around the issue you are having.
