If you have speakers plugged in as well, it may not immediately show your Kraken as the default device. You need to go to the sound options and change it accordingly. If it's not that, try switching it to another USB port and see if that fixes the issue.

As for the buzzing noise, that's a tough one to diagnose. What are your settings in Synapse? Do you have the sensitivity turned way up? I have mine set at 35 and it works great with no issues. I've also had mine for more than a year.

It doesnt show as a device period, but after i unplug the usb and plug it back in it shows up. I've tried multiple ports and its not the usb ports. As for the mic sensitivity i moved it down to 40 and now i dont have a problem. Thanks For The Suggestions

Still seems odd that it's not immediately recognizing it when you power up. I guess as long as it works in general, unplugging it and then back in is just a minor inconvenience at this point. What OS are you using?
