JVC LCD Tv HDMI reset

I have a JVC LT-42E488 LCD TV and the HDMI inputs are not working. Does anyone know the procedure to reset the HDMI inputs on this model. I removed the back cover in order to clean out the dust and after this the HDMI inputs no longer worked. After doing some research I came to find out this TV has a light sensor witch is triggered when the back cover is removed and disables the HDMI inputs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do the AV inputs work and not the HDMI?
If the TV has a light sensor it more likely stops the set from powering up when the cover is off rather than just turning off the HDMI inputs.
I would guess that your cleaning caused some static electricity that damaged a chip on the HDMI or main board.
You can check with these guys for info.
