Keyboard not working

I have a HP stream laptop which I haven't used for 2 months , last time i used it the keyboard was working perfectly fine. Now the keyboard isn't working and I am locked out of my computer beacuse i have a password on it. Someone please help !

On some laptops, when you are stuck at the screen (the login screen), in the lower left-hand corner is an icon that lets you choose to use the onscreen keyboard.

You might also want to check and make sure that any internal parts connecting your keyboard have not come loose.

Another option to try is pressing the FN and NUMLOCK keys together.
