HP Pavilion 15-n293cl keyboard is non-responsive. Wifi light comes on but otherwise no signs of life. I have replaced the keyboard and still same result. External USB KB works as intended. KB does not respond in BIOS either, Nothing in BIOS to indicate KB functionality changes can be made.

I cleaned allot of dirt on the board with air. Was thinking It might benefit from being cleaned with some sort of liquid solution if i detach it from the laptop / power but I have no idea if that is an option. Any suggestions?

Try this...

1. Uninstall the keyboard driver.
2. Reboot the computer (without reinstalling the driver).
3. When it restarts, it should reinstall the driver on its own.

If that doesn't fix it, and the external worked fine, then it is either the attached keyboards connection or the keyboard itself that is the issue.

I tried that as well, no solution. The only thing i can think is that the MB has gone bad or as you said the kb connection is toast. BAH! I think i might try to wash the board, what do i have to lose?
