Kodak EasyShare M340 - doesnt work when SD memory card is put in

I recently purchased a Kodak EasyShare M340 digital camera. When I put in th sd memory card it doesnt work. It will turn on and the lens will come out, but I can't take a picture or view anything on the screen. When I take the card out, it works. I can't save pictures or video on the SD Card or use it for that matter, when the SD card is in the camera. Anyone have any suggestions?

Can you confirm if the Card works in another camera?

or can u check while loading the card the door is properly closed.

Looks like a faulty card to me....
