Hi folks,
I'm pondering ditching my desktop altogether (it's old, bulky, underpowered and obviously not very mobile) in favour of a high-end, gamer spec, laptop.
I always liked having a large monitor to work on at home (and my current one is on the blink anyway) so at the same time I've been looking at some newer 3D capable monitors (namely the Alienware AW2310) and I'm wondering what is the deal with laptops and the ability to output (not display natively on their own screen) 3D to be displayed on a seperate 3D monitor.
Is there a particlar NVIDIA graphics chip that as long as the netbook has it it will be able to output over DVI and display 3D on the monitor?
Thanks,
Pete
