Hello there!

I was looking for some help, choosing my new laptop. My top priority is overall performance. At this point the ASUS N56VB Knocks out the other competitive, but as a con, it doesn't have a touch-screen, and that's a major drawback... BUT it has an i7-quad-core processor(3630QM) Clocked at 2,4, and that is something my heart beats for, and even more for the matt 1080p IPS-panel - Plus it's got a gt740m. Should do really good on normal settings in games, and average on video-editing.

On the other hand, is the Vivobook with the glossy 1366x768p touch-screen and an i7-3517U dual-core clocked at 1.9GHz. Sleek, beautiful and light. I really, really, want a touchscreen, but is 1366x768p too little? And is it possible for me to replace the cpu with a 3630QM Cpu, or is it not removable?

Last is a customized Sony VAIO E Series 14P Custom Touch
Full spec here:
3rd gen Intel® Core™ i7-3632QM quad-core (2.20GHz / 3.20GHz with Turbo Boost)
Windows 8 Pro 64-bit (Save $20, reg. price $50.00) [$30.00]
No Fresh Start
Microsoft® Office 2013 Home & Student - Sony recommended [$139.99]
14" LED backlit display (1600 x 900)
Touch screen
AMD Radeon™ HD 7670M (2GB) hybrid graphics [$30.00] /////// Too bad graphic-card compared to gt740?
1TB (5400rpm) hard drive
8GB (8GB x1) DDR3-1600MHz
CD/DVD player / burner
Large lithium-ion battery (7950mAh) (Save $25, reg. price $70.00) [$45.00]

1600 x 900 is a OK screen res. but will a HD7670 be a bad graphics-card? - And what is the HYBRID about the card? Else, I'm very pleased about the specs.

Thanks.

Fixed your code. - G

When the Acer Aspire V7 is released, it will come with a 1080p Ips Touchscreen. Is it better to wait for that, then? - Also cheaper. But, I don't think, that it's got a dedicated graphics-card, which is a drawback...

Yeah having Intel HD is always a drawback. If you want to wait for that system it's up to you.

Did a little research on the v7, and it seems, test it's my perfect fit. You can choose to get a gt700 series card, OR a hd 8750, but wich would be best then?
