laptop choice for school(engineering and business) and watching videos

hi. I am starting school in afew months time and would like to buy a notebook for it. I do not plan to game on it since i have a pc at home. However, i would like to watch videos on it. I am currently looking at the surface book since it can be used as a tablet and has a good display. However i do not have the money. So, what would be a good notebook for engineering and business(both) and watch videos or web streaming. I would prefer a 1080p screen and a good processor that is under 1000. I like to watch some anime(hentai included) and use the internet for research so multitasking is most preferable

Do you prefer any specific sized screen ?

i would prefer somewhere between 14-15.6, something thin and light
