Laptop Fans Non stop

Hello all, i have an alienware 13 and after i leave a game the fans stay at full rpm until i shutdown or restart the computer, does anyone know of some software to control it, ive tried speedfan but it doesn't work.

You should be able to control your fan speed in your BIOS.

it could be the fan controller is not throttling down the fans.

i want to be able to control it in Windows, because theres no point going into the bios to fix a fan speed issue that fixes its self when restarted.

its all games, and my bios and drivers are up to date

Windows 8.1

My guess is to check your task manager after gaming, and look specifically for anything running unusually. I suggest killing rundll32.exe for NVidia shadowplay if it is running. If that works, check to see if it is in your startup items (NVidia capture software)
