Laptop flex cable

I need a replacement 10 pin ribbon flex cable for my asus g74sx but can't find one easily online. I was wondering what other asus laptops use the same type of flex cable cause I could order a laptop case that has the power board flex cable installed. Thanks for any help.

did you contact ASUS support? While they may not supply just the cable, the component may come with one on it... Where did it come off?

I did contact asus and they don't outsource their components and it would cost 90$ at least for me to ship it in and get it fixed. And it came off of the power button circuit board.

I have already looked on eBay and it's very hard to find 10 pin flex cables. Is all that really matters the pin count? (Like if it's from a different manufacturer will it still work?)
