I am looking for a laptop, priced below $600 Australian for use at school.
I have a gaming desktop at home, so it doesn't need to cover that, but it would still be a nice bonus if it could run simple games on low to mid settings at a manageable frame rate.
Also, it's a school laptop, so it needs to be fairly tough, not military grade titanium, but not Cheap thin plastic and glass either.
I am not buying online from overseas, I am sticking a places that I can physically walk into if I find an issue, things like Harvey Norman, Domayne, The good guys, Officeworks, Jb Hi Fi, and others.
5+ hours of battery is fairly important, and I would like to stick to AMD as a matter of personal preference.
So far, I have found 2 that seem pretty good, please take a look and give me some advice, I am obviously not bound to these 2 by any means, but they just seam like the sort of thing that might fit the profile.

Thank you for your help :).

Of these 2 I would take Acer because of a SSD and 8GB RAM.
CPU is basically same but HP's one has little bit better integrated GPU.

I am sure that some expert here from AU will find something even better for you.
